I’m a design generalist with over 10 years of experience who enjoys connecting the proverbial dots. My expertise is in digital and print asset production through Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign for retail and ecommerce, however I am well versed in the entire creative suite as well as Figma. I also believe that having a few extra skills never hurts, so I’m constantly trying to learn new things and develop with the industry. The latest? Motion graphics and video editing (you can see some of it here, here, and here).

I’m also not the best writer. I’m definitely okay at it. Mostly, I’m just not great at talking about myself. Another thing I believe: bulleted lists can make communicating vital information easier (see below).

FAST FACTS:

  • I grew up in New Jersey and went to UMD College Park, left with a bachelor’s in Studio Art concentrating in Graphic Design
  • I’ve worked with record labels, promotion companies, non-profits, and start-ups
  • I’ve been referred to as Jimmy John because I get projects done “freaky fast”
  • Disorganized layers will send me into a blind rage
  • So will low-res jpeg logos
  • I’m convinced the chapter on turn signals was torn out of every DC/MD/VA driver’s handbook
  • Sometimes I choose fonts based on their ampersand because it’s my favorite character

I’m an honest, hardworking person who genuinely enjoys every aspect of design. I find its flexibility across mediums fascinating and its constant evolution exciting. Having too much downtime as a designer is probably my worst nightmare (also: slow computers that cant keep up with my multitasking). The opposite? Working with people who not only share my enthusiasm, but also don’t judge me for loving what I do as much as I do.
